I don't know that much about running events in Finland but I think Helsinki City Marathon ( http://www.helsinkicitymarathon.fi/eng/index.html) and Helsinki City Run ( http://www.helsinkicityrun.com/eng/ ) are the biggest competitions in Finland.
My friend is running in the Helsinki City Run. It's a half marathon. Hmm. Maybe I could try that too. I used to run 4 hours per day 6 days a week when I was delivering newspapers but I had to quit because my knees started hurting. I haven't run much since. It's been a few years now, maybe my knees have healed :)
