30 minute lunch break is not enough time

I only have a 30 minute lunch break at work, and by the time I get my lunch and sit down, I have 20-25 minutes. I am trying to exceed 3000 calories per day. I am shoving bananas and dates in my mouth as quickly as possible, but I can only get 5 of each eaten in that amount of time. I am just wondering if anyone else has this same problem. I am FREEZING all the time!!!

Hi everyone!! It is my 2nd week and I have been a little worried because I am seriously freezing all the time. My hands and feet are like icicles. Granted it is winter, but I am in Texas, (today the high is going to be 74) so it shouldn't be this extreme. I have always disliked the cold, but now it is uncomfortable. I just can't seem to warm up unless I take a hot shower or work out, but then 30 minutes later I start to get cold again. Is this normal? See More

I have been struggling to maintain a raw vegan lifestyle for years. I yo-yo back and forth from one extreme (meat eating) to the other (high fat raw vegan). I have spent most of the time hovering precariously somewhere in the middle as a vegetarian. I came upon the 8/1/1 diet a month ago through a friend and decided to give it a 30 day try. I am 13 days in but have been including brown rice the last few days (which I now see how I have been undereating leading to my cravings). I am getting a lot of opinions from people and it has left me in quite a state of confusion. So here I am on 30BaD trying to get some guidance from people who are actually doing it and maybe make a few friends :)

I love being outdoors, whether I am hiking, biking, running, swimming, or just laying in the sun. I do a lot of yoga and really enjoy painting. Some of my favorite authors are Isabel Allende, Elizabeth Gilbert, Judith McKnaught, and Orson Scott Card.

I don't know many people that agree with this diet. I need community so when I am bombarded with others opinions and start to doubt myself, I have somewhere to go and talk with people that are successful.

I too have wen eating brown rice the lat three weeks. The rest all fruits and veg. I needed it because my bp was crazy low and I was transitioning  from hfrv. I was a mess feel great now. But the rice once a day really helps!!! Us you are so active.  I am too, teaching several yoga and barre classes a week!  Hope u feel amazing!
