"Hi there. I made a very good Spinach-Pesto sauce. Put into a blender about 1/2 lb baby spinach, juice of 1/2 lemon, a couple of leaves of basil, some oregano (fresh herbs of course), thyme and dill and blend. YUMMMM"

"for an alfredo- ish sauce: (1 serving) 1 zuchinni 1-2 cloves of garlic less than a handful of raw cashews or pine nuts process/blend it and it is DELISH :) one of my non-raw friends loved it! hope this was helpful"

After being vegetarian since the age of 7, I decided to go vegan 14 years later at the age of 21 (I wish I'd done it much, much sooner. What was I waiting for?). Now, three years later, I'd like to take the next step and go raw! Being gluten intolerant and vegan already as it is, this lifestyle sounds perfect for me. I've been a sugar-addicted, junk-food vegan for long enough! I hope to learn more about my health, shed these excess pounds and start feeling awesome! I'm excited to get going and learn more! : D

Thought we'd have a hard time avoiding steamed spring vegetables, like artichokes, as they were our favorite, but the tastiness of fruit made at part easy.
