Sunday 2/3/13 Day #1:Doing a 14 Day Challenge of tuning in to my Inner Wisdom and to how I relate to food.

Sunday how symbolic that I start this challenge on Sunday. But instead of trying to find the connection to Source outside of myself, I will attempt to tune in by meditating for at least 10 minutes at a time, and by writing everyday in my journal as I want to tune in to my Inner Wisdom. "Oh, I forgot...wear a hat.  It quickly helpful along with a good pair of socks.  We have wood floors and even with socks chill us, but with slippers or sandals it keeps us warm-er."

Benefits thus far on this newbie's journey: forehead rash disappeared thus far

I want to focus today on what has changed since I have incorporated more lfrv meals in my life and I am happy to say that the eruptions of a rash has disappeared from my forehead.  I see that this was a direct result of my previous diet.  I have been very consistent with my morning breakfast choice of 4 cups of water with fruit and celery or cucumber combo and that has gone relatively easy.  I have been more consistent in my daily exercise and have lost a little weight as well.  My…

Rainy Cold Damp Friday- and food choices

I really struggle to eat cold food on cold damp rainy days.  I usually do a frozen berry and banana smoothie and just had a hard time to enjoy this when it is so cold outside.  I am not sure if this is just a mental habit or if this a physiological issue.  I made some wild rice and warmed it up to get something I know would get me through the day.  My mom is from south america and my favorite meal was rice and banana when I was a child, so you can say I am going to an old familiar dish for…
