sorry for responding so late to your comment regarding Costa Rica. I can agree to much of what you said. I've been to CR a couple of times and it is getting harder and harder to find good places (but there are still some). And of…"

This group has been created for the purpose of bringing together like minded fruitarians who wish to live in a sustainable and high fruit yielding community with relatively low housing maintenance. Living off the grid is low impact. Nothing goes to waste. Let's collect the rain and drink it. Let's harness the sun through passive solar methods and grow with it. Let's catch the wind and keep the breeze up n flow with it!See More

I am thinking for a while to step off the grid and to join some kind of intentional community or ecovillage. Today I found a movie clip about Amy Shrift, who lives in Costa Rica, in an amazing way close to nature (hygiene raw living). I am fascinated by this type of living and since I know Costa Rica pretty well I am really wanting to learn more about the raw living style. I have considered a couple of times to move to Costa Rica permanently and may do so soon. I found this network site through youtube after watching the clip about Amy.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I don't watch TV and the only movie I have seen during the past couple of years was AVATAR. I was inspired by the Zeitgeist movement and The Venus project. I read many spiritual, metpahysical books, too many to list here. Some of my favorite authors are Alan Watts and Terence McKenna.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I am new to LFRV and need to learn almost everything. Right now, I am eating mostly fruit and veggies, but not entirely.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply despite some disagreement since I am a team player

After visiting Costa Rica for month this Jan-Feb, i decided, that CS wouldn't be my place , nothing impressive. Too americanised everything, fruits and veggies as well, mentality of people as well too low in spirituality...
I would go for compromise between tropics and Europe. Other similar places maybe EcoForest.com (probably not working )
Have you seen documentary "New We" about communities?
Also just got today "Get Fresh" magasine summer'11 edition, where Frederic Patenaude rates ( 'The world's best raw hot spots) places to live for Raw Foodists. He downgrades Costa Rica, where he lived over 6 month. It's still in top 10 tho :) have similar issue My spanish is 0, and not much in to learning new language, so english speaking (or some members speaking)community would have advantage for me :)
