Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. My friends call me Ape and I'm a hygienist in the Cincinnati, OH. area, married to an OTR truck driver. My goals for this lifestyle include increase my energy, improve my skin, and just feel good in general. I've been following Freelee on Instagram for over a year now and have always been interested in her lifestyle. I've always struggled with my energy levels, trying extremely hard to eat healthy, clean, and paleo (off and on). After reading the ebook, I think I'm ready to take the plunge into this HCRV lifestyle. I've never considered going vegan but I have never had a huge desire to consume animal products (always thought that's where you had to get your protein). I've always been thin but never stuck with a consistent workout because of energy levels. I do have a MAJOR sweet tooth and am excited about feeding it in a way that will boost my energy. Most of my family and friends think I am crazy for even considering this lifestyle but I figured, why not? I'll give it 30 days and see how it goes. I usually cook for myself 5-6 days a week. Going raw will cut down on some of that cooking time. A few areas I am afraid I will struggle with will be getting enough sleep (I've always had trouble sleeping and recently started napping, making things worse) as well as social events. My husband is being very supportive and has even asked if I will be ok if he continues to eat cooked, animal products or if he should keep them out of the house. Best husband ever! Since December I have also noticed changes in my skin, more frequent and larger breakouts. I've spent a small fortune on new cleansing products, thinking my skin had just 'changed'. 7 months later and I am still fighting it, so I decided diet needs to change too! I know this lifestyle will also improve the way I feel in general. I've always noticed how my body responds to different foods. Some, like most dairy, were very easy to avoid because they made me feel so poorly and the cravings were not worth the end result. Others, like chocolate candy, I knew were not great but the cravings did not out weigh the end results. I am hoping by giving my body more of the sugar it craves I will no longer feel like I am feening for that candy bar. I know these 30 days will be a struggle at first but I look forward to the changes I will see in myself.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I love being outdoors. My family and I are big into fourwheelers and spend most weekends in the spring and fall in the woods. The summers are spent either by the pool of out on the boat. For us, if the weather is nice, you will catch us outside. Winter, when we get snow, you will find me out playing in it with my nieces. On days that are just too cold to get out, I enjoy working on my new home.

Recipes, Recipes, Recipes! I've not done anything like this before, so I am going to need help keeping things moving. I'm afraid of getting stuck because I've burnt myself out on the things I am eating.
