Getting back on track

After Christmas, I have had cooked with my family (vegan!), and never really got back on track. However, I vow to blogpost every evening in order to share my rawfullness with the world, and vow to quit almond-butter jelly toast. So far, I have had bananas this morning, and will go on to prepare the head of lettuce that is staring at me in the fridge. Hopefully, I will find support on this website to get back on 80 10 10:)

Your thoughts on maple syrup?

I do sometimes add a little to smoothies, is it a supported ingredient by the high carb cooked vegan community?:)

Hello 30BaD community:)

I'm Apple, a 20 year old long time vegetarian who deceided to go vegan... Being fed the standard 'un'knowledge about what is and isn't healthy, I continued eating eggs and dairy, and thinking this was what my body needed. When I really got into veganism, I didn't think about it twice; I just felt like a hypocrite, and knew that I couldn't eat any of this anymore. I bought the book Skinny Bitch after hearing the author give a speech about animal rights, but I don't feel I need all the processed foods it recommends, obviously to lure 'dieters' into veganism.

When I stumbled upon raw foodism or fruitarianism on the internet, I deceided to get informed. This is why I am seeking help here, in this community:) Hopefully, I will be able to share. learn, and successfully begin my high carb unprocessed journey into healthier living.

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
The best assistance I could think of is being able to read or post a food journal which is commented by other HCRV. This will most likely give me reassurance, and help me do this healthily.

I have now completely eliminated overts from my diet, because I realized that I was always undercarbed when I craved them. Now there's no problem, I'm eating a TON of fruit. I've also been completely raw for over a week now, with the exception of a potato when I got to the end of my bananas... but I felt horrible afterwards, like I needed a giant nap. No need to eat cooked when there's enough fruit:)

This is just a small post to share how proud I am of myself! I feel great,…

Not going as expected

Okay, so I guess I need much more fruit than I originally thought, because every day I stay completely raw, I eat way too many nuts... Which is why I did eat cooked food this week. I must now gear up and try again! Tomorrow I will buy dates and bananas, and will resing myself to buying more whenever I need to. Even if this means every second day.

Seeing how I really don't want to fail, I will track this down my journey online (again!) and write every day. I also think that I should… Continue

30 day raw vegan challenge!

Posted on November 25, 2012 at 3:29am 4 Comments

Ok, so I have now deceided that I wanted to be raw, for at least a month. I have already given up caffeine, never thought I could do that! So hey, why not try being completely raw. I wanted to keep track of my meals somewhere, and I figure this is the best place- any advice is extremely welcomed!

First meal of the day this morning: 5 pears and 8 small fresh dates

Feeling: It sat heavily in the stomach, not the feeling I was expecting. Usually when I eat fruit, I feel…
