Profile Information

Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.
I'm a vegan (four months strong now, for health, environmental, and ethical reasons), and I'm a health nut. Now my high school experience is ending, and I'm making more of my own personal choices (my dad thinks I'm crazy for keeping so many bananas and greens around already :P ). Next fall, I'll be in college, choosing my own food to buy... But I don't want to wait until then. Life doesn't wait, and I want to transition to a raw, healthy lifestyle as soon as I can. I've made a plot for a garden in my back yard, and I've marked every local farmer's market date from May to October this year... But I don't know what to do next.

I found out about 30BaD shortly after I went vegan through EasyToBeRaw on YouTube, while looking for vegan recipes. Now I follow several other raw foodists on YouTube as well.

Since I went vegan, I've noticed some significant changes in my health. I'm in better physical shape, I'm less prone to illness, my hair grows faster and fuller, my skin looks better, and increased mental clarity. I also don't get lethargic after meals like I used to. There are still some improvements that I'd like to make, though. I want to have a more active lifestyle, and I want to alkalize my body to get rid of any remaining health issues. I want to encourage other people to live cruelty-free, eco-friendly lives, and being a happy, healthy, good influence seems like the best route to take. Though I'm slim and at an average weight, I tend to overeat. I get cravings due to stress and tiredness, and (most of the time) I go straight for the processed, starchy, fattening, sweet foods. It never ends well. There's no excuses for me to do that. I want to be vegan the right way.

I'm hoping to give and get support with other members of the 30BaD. As someone who doesn't know too many vegans (and no raw vegans), I know that being the educated minority can be tiring, and even painful-- which is why I need all of the healing I can get. What better way than this?

Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
Just support, encouragement, and probably a lot of advice.
30bad is a HCRV (high carb, raw vegan) internet community which promotes a high carb raw lifestyle free of any animal products. Our forum does not tolerate encouragement of anything contrary to HCRV. Nor do we allow endorsement of non-vegan items or practises which involve the imprisonment, exploitation, abuse or murder of sentient beings. We also require our members to post with proper netiquette. Therefore, please indicate your intention:
I will comply because we are The Borg and resistance is fruitile
