I'm an 80/10/10 raw foodist and have been on the frugivore kick for about 4 years now, although I've been 100% raw fruity for only the last 1.5 years. Prior to that I'd fruit it up all day then eat some rice or other grain at night. My partner, Matt, introduced me to the frugivore lifestyle, and has been raw for 7 years and an 80/10/10 rv for 4 now. We both work for the US Forest Service doing fisheries work, which means that for 6 months of the year we spend our workday hiking and snorkelling down creeks and rivers looking for salmon. The rest of the year we are laid off, which is a great time to visit family, see how close we can get to being wild animals, and eat lots of fruit. Our goal at this point is to go full nomad, living in our mongilian yurt in the small rural town where we work half then year, then rolling up the house, and heading to warmer climes to eat of the fat to the land and sleep under the stars. I am deeply interested in and committed to natural birthing and living, with the idea that our bodies and minds do in fact work if we will trust them and give them the tools they need. I'm a Sagitarius in both the western and Vedic traditions, and a lover of experience. I think my spirit animal is a tree.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....
I'm currently loving the crap out of "Unassisted Childbirth" by Laura Kaplan Shanley and generally geek out over all things natural birth. LOVED "Johnathon Strange and Mr.Norrell". Also love Tom Robbins, Neil Gaimen; really any cleverly written fantasy. I've recently decided to stop watching movies as they affect my subconcious mind too deeply, but prior to that, freaking LOVE Tim Curry in Rocky Horror Picture Show. Pastimes: swimming in the river, living outside, traveling long distances under my own power (bike, legs), making the love, reading, dancing to funk music, communing with fishes, exploring my animal nature, and eating fresh local tomatoes. There are more, too.
Durianrider & Freelee started this site to bring together high carb, raw vegan lifestylists' across the Globe! 30bad is a high standard and high performance team! We're here to help you make our team! Let us know what HCRV assistance do you need?
I'm currently pregnant with my first baby, and at this point (30 weeks) feel solid about my diet, birth plans, etc. but would love to share info and gain insight from others on this path. I've spent about 5 years studying midwifery and birth, so I'm a fount of info, as well. Also, I still tend to over-do the fat and salt, crave pizza, etc. These are areas where I could use support! Finally, I'm a solid endurance machine, but have never had much of an upper body, and oulw love info/support on incorporating the upper body into my activity.
