"I wouldn't go by the WHO report if you're eating raw, much of the 60g protein eaten from cooked food will be unusable by the bodiesof people who eat cooked food."

"I've been wondering the same thing! My protein intake is ALWAYS 5% or less no matter how many greens I shove in. I wouldn't be too concerned but my doctors are testing my protein levels in an attempt to scare me off this diet... :("

Protein ratio consistently too low

Hey community!I'm 6 days in to 811lfrv (and my boyfriend has be doing it for 3 weeks), and I have one question:We have been using cronometer to compute our calories and ratios, and protein has been hovering between 5-7%. I have been eating around 1700 calories (still stretching my stomach!) and my man has been consuming 3,000+.Is the key to eat even more leafy greens? Bok choi? I really am just amazed that people are able to commit to 811 consistently! My greatest struggle has been remaining dedicated to my own health (despite my body's need to heal). I would love to give HCRV a good try, but am so used to "failing" at extreme dietary/lifestyle changes

Hey Boulderite! Welcome to 30 BaD. Hope you find the boards here supportive and informative to help you get to consistent HCRV living... as far as I know it will eventually eradicate all those health issues you're battling with. Hang in there.

Boulder's a pretty decent place for HCRV, mind you I come from Australia where the fruit is expensive and lacking in quality (mostly)...
