I have been watching some of your youtube videos and am very intrigued. I am interested for my wife and I, but very interested for my daughter. She has a rare genetic disorder called Prader-Willi syndrome. Without going into much detail. The disorder causes her to never feel full. He brain is always teller her that she is starving. We have to lock the refrigerator ect, because she would just keep eating without stopping. We limit her calories everyday, because we do not want her to be obese, which is something most PWS kids are. Most die from obesity. She loves fruit, but we limit it, because we are counting calories. Everything that I hear you talk about is so opposite of everything I have thought to be true. I am going to go get the book 8-1-1 today. We only want the best for our daughter and feel this could be the way to not only give her more calories per day, but give her energy and health. I am very interested in learning more.

Your question regarding your dear daughter is a new one to me. By all means, read the 811 book and look around here as much as you like to gain any possible insights.
After that, you're welcome to ask for assistance. While it's not our place to offer medical advice, you might run across someone with a similar experience or at the very least advice from our many fine parents.
