Our community would be delighted to know you better. Please tell us more about yourself and what brought you to 30BaD. We suggest you pick a name other than your own if you want to maintain anonymity.: Hi, I'm 30 years old, feeling younger than ever. From Costa Rica, but have been living in USA with my husband for 11 years. However, now I wish I was living there to enjoy all the fruit I never really took advantage off when I was younger and able to eat it fresh and cheaper than here. But now I'm thankful I have found an even better way of eating than "eat right for your blood type." So far, I still eat some cook food, carbs: like rice, sprouted bread, beans, steamed beets once in a while. I have totally cleaned my desire for fatty food, and I'm my taste buds still get salt cravings, but I eat very little, and I basically hate strong flavors like garlic and onions. My goal is to help people transition to a low fat vegan life; I'm a nurse, so I'm tired of seeing medications and its endless side effects. I strongly believe we were made miraculously and even imperfect our body can regenerate and heal itself with the right, God given, tools.

My favourite books/movies/authors/pastimes are....: Bible (life's manual from our Creator), Green for life, 80 10 10,forks over knives, Eat to live by Dr. Fuhrman. I love to workout at the gym, trying to improve my running skills or lack of, my new hobby is to make my own beauty products from food, have been successful with deodorant, shampoo, soap, toothpaste, blush, face mask. I only had enough food for about 2 days. After that it was hard to get to the store which was picked through pretty good. It was easier at that point to just to give it up. In the weeks that followed I fell off the wagon bad. Landed right back into eating fried meat for every meal. After my health began going down hill again I knew what I had to do. I am vegan again and am eating lfrv at least 2 meals a day. I plan on giving it another shot soon, going lfrv full time.

What congregation do you go to? I go to the Smithville congregation.

P.S. I was watching one of your videos and if you stick close to the hydration and caloric guidelines here, those kind of crazy-cravings will be VERY rare if ever. I recommend you to use Chron-O-Meter or similar, at least at first, to log your food intake and make sure you are getting enough calories. It is so easy to under-eat calories on this type of eating style!
