My name is Alexis. I first heard about Raw veganism while reading some article on Steve Pavlina website. He did it himself and reported great results. I then did some more research and found 30 bananas a day. People reported the same benefits steve pavlina experienced and I felt this was the lifestyle for me. I've never liked to eat meat, although I believed it was me that wasn't normal for not liking it. I've always liked to eat fruit but eat them as deserts, like everyone and not in big quantities because people don't think it is normal.
I've been struggling to have good teeth, although I took great care of my teeth and gums and that's one of the reasons why I attempted this lifestyle. The other big reason is that I wanted to find out for sure if I had some food allergies because my sinuses clog up sometimes and I haven't found why yet.
So yeah I've decided to try it for general health reasons, fatigue, etc. And I like the tips I read on the websites and videos posted by members.

I look for practical advice. Right now I'm HCRV but I don't eat enough calories because it's expensive, I'm busy with my job and I don't always find fruits to eat.

Sure, well it is kind of tough to get in all the fruit at first, especially if you are coming from a higher fat diet. First I would say don't worry too much, just do the best you can, you stick to 80/10/10 for a while and it will get easier and easier to get in enough food to meet your calorie needs!
You may even have trouble with smoothies at first, remember you don't have to do it all in 2 or 3 meals, you can always break it down to smaller, more frequent meals if that works better for you.
For smoothies, which yes, I think really help a lot! Just take 5 or 6 bananas, 5-10 dates and a large glass of water or two. You can also add some young baby spinach or baby greens to it if you like. Just blend until it is smooth and enjoy! I like adding some berries too, strawberry or blueberry. You may play around with more or less water depending on how powerful your blender is.
To get a good calorie count you can enter all you eat into www.cronometer.com and it will show you how many calories you are taking in, as well as the carb:protein:fat ratio and vitamins/minerals.
