Hi, I'm a vegan for ethical reasons and I've been interested in the HCRV lifestyle because I want to eat more natural unprocessed foods and I've always loved fruit ! :)
I would like to lose some weight, but my priority is to feel more energetic (my aim is to run my first half-marathon within a year) and balanced.
Also I've been struggling with eating disorders for years and I think a fruit-based diet might help me to have a more peaceful relationship with food while working on the psychological/emotional aspect of the disorder.
I recently started to eat a high carb vegan diet, I eat lots of raw fruit and vegetables but also some cooked veg/grains/beans (and occasional treats like chocolate or bread) because being 100% raw would be financially unsustainable for me, and I think there's nothing unhealthy with including some cooked foods in my diet as long as it's not too fatty and too processed.
And I also want to improve my sleep, being able to sleep at least 8 hours every night would certainly be lifechanging!

To get started. Be sure to note food, calorie, water, sleep recommendations and log (can use www.cronometer.com or similar)  your food/drink intake, at least for the first few months to get used to what you need to eat to stay on target calorie wise as well as macronutrient (carbs:fat:protein) wise. Even if someone is a long time, established, raw vegan, it is possible to discover some things using "hard-data"; spot trends, be able to make good adjustments, that might not be possible otherwise.
