Shore-Elizabeth said… RIght now my diet is mostly Banana's, Oranges, Lettuce, bell peppers. I tried Papaya but i do not like that at all. Oh and Persimmons i love those. I am going to branch out when I go to the wholesale fruit market Saturday.

Shore-Elizabeth said… I think it is wonderful that you are taking the reigns and controlling your destiny through maintaining good health. So many people die each year when they do not do all they could to self medicate through a healthy life style.
I originally lost weight following the atkins diet (of course i gained 50% of it back). Then years later i find out that i was damaging my body. That is NOT what i wanted to do. I thought I was being healthy. Now i know better.
Shore-Elizabeth said… Well.. Its been a long process for me. I have been tying to lose weight and I have lost a bunch but thats not enough. I want to be healthier. I want to be able to at least try different activities that I feel my weight wont allow me to (i.e. water sports, biking for fun, snow boarding etc.)
How about you? What made you enter the vegan zone?

❧ Chantal ❧ said… We met last March at a yoga retreat. His two good friends from college were putting it on and Jon was asked to come to lead these meditation hikes. My mom just finished her meditation teacher training and it was so neat to be able to speak with someone else on the subject. And I'm currently in my yoga teacher training and going onto my meditation as well.
I will definitely tell him :) How old is she?
I have only been on 30bad since December 1st, also the first day I was LFRV. I have been vegan for two years, mostly high fat (nuts and olive oil etc.) and some cooked foods such as quinoa and rice. I knew there was still a state of better health that I could reach to feel more vital. Any ways after a trip in November to south east asia, I decided that that's it, I'm going to give it 30 days. Now 30 days is up and my next "evaluation" point will be 3 months, then one year, I don't think I'll ever look back. I go to to sleep early so I don't really get cravings. But stuff your face with delish fruit and you won't have room for anything else ;)
