When I was pregnant I had horrific morning sickness....the only thing I could keep down were apples. In fact my whole pregnancy I survived on just APPLES. Still love them! I am now very low carb.(yeah lots of meat) and lost my baby weight but at the same time I started to be afraid to eat fruit! I was so strict with my fruit intake that I was too afraid to reach for an extra apple! Last week I wanted an extra piece of fruit so much but I prevented myself from getting it because I was sooo afraid of the carbs. Well, I ended up binging on cake.Not just one piece. I bought an entire cake and downed it. FElt miserable. I know if I had reached for the fruit I wouldn't have binged. Well after that 7 day cake eating spree(yes 7 days.) I got back on track with low carb and paleo.. well, I started to get the cravings again. Yesterday I ate an apple when I got the carb cravings..then still hungry I ate 5 more. Wow. It stopped. I had to force myself to eat dinner. For once I was SATISFIED!!! I was doing low carb, meat and I lost weight but I was still famished. I want to try all fruit because during pregnancy it really satisfied me and kept my weight gain during pregnancy to a minimum. I think my body may actually be better off on fruit but want the support to go for it.....I don't know how to go about it. Should I calorie restrict? What does a fruitarian diet look like? What's a typical breakast? Will I still be able to fuel my workouts? I need the support! I never entertained being vegan although I tried because grains and soy just don't agree with me. But fruit? Half of my genetics is from a tropical country. My mother ate mostly fruit....I remember her eating mangos and rice! Wow. yum... Although I won't touch rice I'd love to just eat mangoes. I know that me coming to this lifestyle through a vanity standpoint isn't the best thing. It's probably better to arrive here through the care of animals. But I want to be honest....I think all fruit is the kind of diet for me. Thank you.

Sample menus of eating raw vegan? I'd love to eat just fruit. My body loved it when I was pregnant. Not only was I able to support myself..but a healthy baby.

On 30Bananas a Day we promote a low fat raw vegan diet based on raw fruits and leafy greens.
We do not promote the discussion of eating animal products do to many members being ethical vegans.
Once you start eating a low fat diet, you body will thrive and will be able to absorb the calories and carbs you eat and we recommend a minimum of 2500 for females, and more if you exercise.
Once we start 100% and get over previous addictions, most of us do not have cravings. I came from the low carb Dr. Atkins diet, and I yo yoed up and down 25 pounds. I would have horrible cravings and do similar things like binge on junk food for my sweet tooth. Now, I do not need to binge. I also had kidney stones, surgery and a damaged kidney, borderline cholesterol, blood sugar, and borderline blood pressure all by the ripe old age of 34. Now I am free of those problems!
