I don't think cigs are just purely tobacco. It has tons of other insidious chemicals that are non-biodegradable. Sigh...
Comment by Leslie on March 31, 2012 at 2:08pm This is my aunt's garden. I live in a condo and my dad uses our tiny garden as his ashtray. :P
If you don't have the space, I would recommend you find a community garden or club. Or freeload of your relatives and friends. ; )
I go to the club at my school. On Fridays I get a good workout helping out for about 3 hrs. You can get lots of free delicious organic veggies that way. Last week I brought home a giant leek for my parents, some Amish deer tongue lettuce, and the cutest little tomatoes.
Comment by Annette on March 31, 2012 at 9:35am Mantika we have been using worm castings (worm power) and liquid seaweed at the moment. Wish we had room for the Worm Factory, so we could compost.
Comment by Annette on March 31, 2012 at 9:13am Nice.....!!
@ Mantika....We live on a 36ft boat and have a container garden. We are growing a salad mix of lettuces, bell peppers, cucumbers, cherry and roma tomatoes, beets, and sugar snap peas. All grown from seed. You can do it no matter how much space you don't have. What inspired my husband was a book I bought called The Vegetable Garden's Container Bible.
