They were fine, yes, a little bruised and beat up but sweetly ripe and delicious, perfect for smoothies! :)

I recently scored at the local grocery as well. Got a huge load for 19 cents a pound!

it can sometimes be deceiving, they look a lot like bruise marks rather than spots that show ripeness. how did they turn out?
