30 Bananas a Day!

Fruit Haul! With the week before and after The WFF my restocks have been minimal, so you guys didn't hear much from me, but it 's time for a nice restock!

I got a crate of strawberries, box of white grapes, box of navel oranges, box of bananas, seven boxes of Saturn peaches (yeah!), six melons (what’s the English name for this variety?), box of small plums, four heads of celery (for celery powder), two heads of lettuce, some arugula and lemons, and home grown zucchini, cucumber and tomatoes.

@OmniNova try finding a wholesaler or a good local market. My fruit quality ain't the best, but its doable. I spent 14 Euro a day on average for everything I eat.

Now that is an impressive haul. How much did you pay for all of this Jelle ? And how long would that last you? In NZ that would cost me around $400-$500. Id have no problem staying raw if I could get this much fruit. That would be so amazing, I wouldn't have to eat s#*t rice anymore.

@NathanB thanks for the names of the plums and melons, greengages are definite correct, not sure if they are Charentais melons. I use celery powder as replacement for salt, and love it in tomato based dressings.

Looks great! Jealous of your peaches!  Hope you keep going with the photos, always interesting to see what you've bought.

What do you do with celery powder?

Think the melons are Charentais, and the plums would be called greengages over here.
