Craving something sweet and crispy? Peel skin and slice one apple, take 3 dates, mash them and spread the dates onto the apple slices, cover with another slice on top and enjoy! :)

I taught this last week for cooking class at the pre-school I work at but we also added sliced bananas. It was a hit but surprisingly many of the kids didn't like the dates and favored banana apple sandwiches instead.
