Its the same thing that goes in a "yakissoba" recipe, but raw. Cucumber noodles, brocolli, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots.

@Eduardo would love to recreate it so I will be waiting for the instructions :)

@fruitsandnumbers I like to experiment and enjoy foods, so even if there may be "issues" with something this does not mean I'm against it or don’t want to try it. I would rather identify the foods that may cause problems and let people learn why and see for them self what works.

By the way, why is it that the things you mentioned aren't 811. What is 811 anyway?

Well this will probably be personal for most of us. I think the key is to classify the food as most suited for the human body and least damaging. This is kind of the Natural Hygiene way and the cornerstone of The 811 Diet and 30BaD. I think one of the best ways to learn is to not eat some food for 16 weeks and then eat a bunch of it so see how the body reacts.

Cruciferous vegetables may indeed give us trouble with digestion, leafy greens are more suited but this doesn't mean we can't have them form now and then. See the below links they contain great information about some of the vegtables:

That looks great! What did you use for the sauce?

Comment by fruitsandnumbers on April 27, 2012 at 2:37pm

@Jelle OK, it's understood. I'm glad you like the looks of it and are interested in knowing what it is. I'm a great supporter of Eduardo and his works. I think he is one of the greatest contributors to the LFRV 'movement' nowadays. I like your calmness; I must say few people have your emotional poise.

It's just that adding "(not 811)" after the name of each ingredient makes it sound like a criticism...

By the way, why is it that the things you mentioned aren't 811. What is 811 anyway? If dr. Graham ain't 811, who is, then??

@fruitsandnumbers I don’t want to criticise, I just like to know what it is :) It looks good.

@Edu Que massa!

@Jelle I honestly don't see what's the point of your criticisms. You have argued elsewhere (if I understood you correctly) that a low-fat-raw-vegan diet is not necessarily better than a low-fat-cooked-vegan one, and now you are being ultra purist about not eating broccoli, leek, mushrooms, carrot, cauliflower and zucchini? gimme a break.

Comment by Eduardo Corassa on April 27, 2012 at 4:34am

I dont know why broccoli is not 811 if its a cruciferous and even doug uses in the book. Well, if we classify all foods in a frugivore animal diet, primates do eat cruciferous veggies, so for me i would classify that in hygiene frugivorism.

Cucumber noodles and all the ones u said, with a little bit more. Long recipe i post ASAP
