Comment by Laura Kleist on June 25, 2012 at 1:42pm imo, the raw carob tastes sweeter and doesn't have a bad aftertaste. Not sure where you might be able to find it locally, I got mine from a little tiny health food store...No luck at Whole Foods or any of the big chains BUT if you want to order it online, these guys have a really decent price :)

Comment by Laura Kleist on June 25, 2012 at 12:13pm Super easy! Just put some semi-thawed frozen bananas in the blender, a couple of soaked dates, and maybe a little bit of the soaking water if you need it. Blend it all up and then layer it with some chopped banana and some raw carob powder! Make sure to get raw though...the toasted stuff is yuck. :) Non-raw peeps always LOVE this :)
