Thanks Lisa - also wanted to add that I still usually have mono meals - I just went through phases of eating more complicated meals. And when I moved back to Manhattan I went a little crazy with the raw restaurants for a while. Now I rarely go, but still will once in a while.

Lisa - I only drank water as well. I personally don't juice at all because of two reasons - I don't want to take the time to do it, and I feel better eating the whole food. I also really enjoy chewing and felt more satisfied this way. I ate as much as I wanted to at each meal and was never hungry - except once in a while I would be hungry before bed but wouldn't eat so I could sleep better.

My first seven months I ate mono meals for almost every meal - occasionally combining a couple fruits which combine well. I would have salad for dinner at times but think I should have had it more - I just was only wanting fruit at the beginning. If I had it to do over again I would have had greens at dinner after eating my fruit at least every other day if not every day.

I would have avocado at times, but only had nuts once a month.

Bryan Lee - I don't and didn't except for temporarily a little under my chin. I did exercise while losing and I think that helped avoid the problem. I've also been told that when you lose the weight on this diet and stay well hydrated that helps avoid the problem as well.

Can you tell a new beginner to the program about what you ate the first few months.. I recently lost weight by cutting out sweets,and I only drink water
