Share 'Filtered Tap water vs Plastic Bottled water'

Ok, Tap is Crap, plastic bottles there chemicals, I dont live near a spring and am not able to afford glassed bottled water at present. . having financial difficulties at present, do I filter tap water or keep buying plastic bottled water? is it, as doug graham would say, shooting yourself in the hand or foot?!  Would love your comments, advise and what you do when money is difficult on this lif…
