Share 'Hair removal and razor burn'

What is the best chemical-free or natural way of shaving? I use an electric razor and it kills my neck, gives me bad razor burn. I'm also a hairy guy and would love to have most of my body hair removed permanently. Not sure which route is best for my health, laser or electrolysis... Any help would be greatly appreciated, I hear those old safety razors work best.
