Hey Safi, most Asian supermarkets sell frozen jackfruit.  Also if you want an extra special durian treat QV Oriental Supermarket at QV in the city have boxes of Malaysian Musang King durian which is incredible!

I wish I was free this Friday!
My work week usually starts on Wednesday and ends on Sunday evening.

I have a proposal though. My partner and I are living in Torquay for another 1.5 months and then we`re buying a hippy bus and driving up to Cairns for a housesit.

We`ll have plenty of time to spare and we`ll be driving up at the end of March. We have to stop in Melbourne anyways because some of our belongings are in a friend`s place in Williamstown.

We`ll be there for a couple of days and perhaps we can even plan it on a weekend? We'd love to meet up with you all then at the end of March.

What do you think?

Thanks Safi

Yes stephen, the Lady jane Clarke rotunda was the one I was thinking of. Just googled it and found it on a wedding list of popular places....so if we meet at a time of wet weather then we may have to dash elsewhere if it is pre-booked. Soooo if we made it friday evening could people make it into the city? I'm working in warragul this friday (24th) though could probably make it in hopefully by 6:45pm  - I dont mind if you want to meet a bit earlier and I will get there when I can. Weather forecast is for mostly sunny 33 degrees at the moment. Are you free this friday Tarah? How about everyone else? I start uni on 27th and think my timetable is for a 5:30pm finish on fridays (RMIT Bundoora) after the 27th.

Hi Ali8un, the park suggestion sounds great to me as it's easy to get to for anyone catching public transport.  Looking on google maps there's a rotunda called Janet Lady Clarke Rotunda, is this the one you mean?
