Check him out. Great body movements even though he's on paleo.

Thanks, very interesting. Anyway, we're lead to believe that we need to "break" muscle tissue in order to grow bigger.

Whats the best way to get strong functional abs? ive been doing crunches of all kinds and i got a nice 6 pack, but i cant seem to build real strength to actually sustain my legs in, for example, an L pushup.

i love oj, i make it all the time. fresh, raw orange juice is lovely and creamy.

Sandra, you were eating alot of high water content fruit. you weren't putting on weight, you were bloated. the question how long have you been 811, raw or cooked, and then agen raw 811 is a very relevant one. i think you would find it very helpfull to read Dougs book. it would answer these questions for you and more that would come with time

You should really read the 80/10/10 book because juice is not something you should be drinking unless it's prepared in a blender, making it a smoothie. When you juice you're left with something that isn't a whole food. Without pulp helping fill up you're stomach you can consume a lot of calories very easily. For example 1 cup of apple juice contains 157 calories, http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/apple-juice?por..., where as 1 cup of sliced apples contains only 57 calories, http://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/usda/apples?portionid=3.... If you were drinking lots of orange and nopales juice that week in addition to that other fruit you may have been going well over the 3000 calories a day that's recommended. I've also read, I can't remember where, that pulp helps slow and even out how sugars are absorbed into our metabolism doesn't spike and then crash.
