Here is the info on the raffle

Now the fruit festival is offering a chance to win a totally awesome Raffle prize and 25$ dollars is the price of one ticket. The more tickets you buy the more your chances to win and the more you increase the chances of the fruit festival to be around and increase in its ability to help others.

Hi Everyone, sorry to break the topic but it is pretty important

I am sending a call to everyone I can to help the fruit festival attain their this budget this year. If each member at 30 bananas just donates 20$ we ill erase their debt of 188 000 dollars. Plus they will have an amazing raffle prize up for grabs for a lucky donor which will be posted in 24 hours. If you donate now you will be considered since it is retroactive. I will post again to mention the prize

It is truly an amazing experience and it would be sad if we can not have it for years to come. It has the power to change peoples lives and bring this community together like no other event. If you have the chance to go do not hesitate, if you are going great but if your not please donate if you can. You might get the chance in the future but you will not if it will no longer exists. But realize even if you never go that supporting this event is helping so many people

I think of all the charities that I have donated in the past and realize now that it was a waste to give to some of them, here is a charity that truly does something special and represents are ideals. If you donate can you please also said you did so in the discussion below. The reasoning is that members will see the thread and hopefully donate. I will keep replying to the thread to keep it as visible as long as I can (my goal is right up to the fruit festival :)

Bench press: 1x BW; Deadlift: 2x BW; Squat: 1.5x BW. Is this a good standard to aim for? What about overhead press and barbell row?

peace

I second that Eddy, no point in supplementing before u can prove u are deficient. In response to Michael: The way i look at it is if many raw athletes compete without supps to the same level or higher than those that take them then surely this demonstrates they are likely a waste of money (at best). In my eyes they are expensive, processed, refined 'junk food'. Stick with the whole foods matey

hey sam thanks for the reply. i usually do all my shopping in bulk like u said. got 200 bananas waiting for me and going fruit shopping tomorrow :)... hmm dates on salad i never thoght of that might have to do that tonight. thats what i was thinking about the supplements i hear many of the raw athlets dont take them but some do. so i have mixed emotions about them but for now i will stay supp free :)

I think it would be wise to find out if you actually are deficient in B12... before taking anything to raise your levels, if tests are not available to you, do some research and see if you have any symptoms, or if it's increased performance you desire, perhaps look in some other area's first.

Comment by Alena on April 2, 2012 at 5:33am

what about the B12 skin patches? i ve been doing that

Comment by Sunny on April 2, 2012 at 2:33am

B-12 is best by injection then by nasal application then by sublingual and a waste of time swallowed. Even sublingual is iffy at best as the molecule is larger than what can be absorbed under the tongue effectively.

I just bought a paramount fitness mate weight lifting device at a thrift shop. Where do I go to learn how to use it? No manual but I did find one online for the machine but it did not include routines.

I am interested in core strength and toning.

Also where can one find this type if weight training for people with a history of back and neck injuries?

Supplement b-12 sulingual.
