Fruitluck Frenzy!

Let's make this thread the main discussion hub for our ongoing fruitluck festivities.  I'll update pertinent info via the PM system, so be sure you've enabled your ability to receive emails from groups in your settings.

I propose that our next event be Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Roadrunner Park, NW corner of Hwy 51 and Cactus:

Since it gets haut here early, how does an 8am start time sound?  You never can tell how many people will be there or if tables/cabanas will be available, but a good spot with a large shade tree is about 100 feet directly north of the children jungle gym.  For recognition, I'll have in my possession a large 2 handled blue clothes hamper basket, in which I'll stash munchies and toys.   And I'll be wearing a white Nike cap.  Once we're collected, if we find a more suitable spot in the park, we can claim it.   

One of the perks is that this park features the best farmers mkt in the city.  Get there early for best selection.  My fave vendor is Stella of Horny Toad Farms, set up on the far east side of the market row.  

If this date works for at least 2-3 of us, I'll finalize and post it up officially.  I know some of you have additional locations and times for gatherings in mind, so by all means shout them out for the future.  And feel free to invite any peeps whose company you enjoy to any event.  Nothing like nature, fresh food, and fun to spread the good word.
