Laura I have the same thing going on with bananas.   They were too ripe and didn't appeal to me at all, I was forcing them down.   I could probably eat them in a nice cold smoothie though.

so i found it really hard yesterday to stick to LFRV - i babysit and they have ALL of the junk food and garbage i LOVE - american cheese slices - chips - bread etc. i ended up breaking down and eating bread with brown mustard - even though i had perfectly ripe bananas and i had 6 of them while i babysat i couldn't eat them anymore i felt i was choking them down literally gagging to eat bananas - whats up with this?

Thank you for the reassurance. Exnto! No dieting for me! My weights generally stable, so I am content with that.

Hey Danielle! You are definitely not wasting the Earth's resources by eating a lot of fruit. Quite on the contrary, actually. You are contributing to the reforestation of the planet by eating high amounts of fruit. The more demand for fruit there is, the more fruit trees farmers will plant. =D

Is it possible to eat too much fruit/greens?

I think I may have been eating more fruit than I may need.

I have just got into the Chromatic and noting my food for a couple of weeks now, I haven’t changed a thing about my diet at all.  I am eating an average of around 4,000cals per day!!!

I am female, 34years old, and exceptionally fit and healthy (a lifetime vegan helps!) I am of average weight and more muscle and strength than any woman I know. I don’t overeat, I eat a LOT!

I am blessed with intuitive eating in that I get generally 100% of my daily nutrient needs..often time a lot more vitamins and minerals than expected....that's great.

I train a lot, and hard, I lift weights, do bar athletics, dance and yoga, ride my bike etc, so my weight’s stable. I was surprised that I was eating so much cals! My energy’s stable throughout the day and generally I feel fantastico!!

So, is this possible? I eat like a gorilla!! I AM a gorilla!!  I feel I was born to be LFRV, yet, don't believe 'dieting' is good for me......what to do? Or is it really of no concern? Am I just wasting the earth resources of making more fruit unnecessarily for me?

Medjool dates - when I'll have more money.

I'm storing some apples with bananas now to ripe them faster.

And yesterday I found out, brown spots are not so important sign of ripeness.. Two bananas with just a few spots, fall of the stalk easily and, fibers were not present and bananas were sweet.

I cannot believe I've actually gone for 12 days with NO fat whatsoever! I'm so proud of myself ... It's been a longtime goal ... been juicing ... I realize that's not quite what this thread is about, but still. And I HAVE been very inspired lately by Freelea's and Durianrider's youtube's ...


It helped me keep going. I added fruit juices today for more calories because I was doing so much green juice I was getting overly fatigued while working long hours.


I just am really glad to give my body the break from all the fats I was doing forEVER! Yay :-)

When bananas are not ripe, you can eat Medjool dates, about 66 calories each (24 g). I frequently add two or three to my smoothies.

you can store some ripe fruit in the freezer, and try to make smoothies, it's easier to get enough calories in ;)

We don't have sweet potatoes in stores. :( So I can cook white potatoes then?

I'm buying bananas almost everyday. Today I have none of them ripe.. :(
