I was doing the 30 bananas day 811 approach where I would try eat at least
2500 calories of fruit a day. But I gained 10 lbs! Super stressful.
I just finished reading Dr.Grahams 80/10/10 diet book and he says for
someone my sex(F) and weight(140) should eat the weight they want X10 in
calories. So mine would be 125X10=1250 calories a day which is WAY more
restrictive than 2500.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Permalink Reply by ORGANIC811LFRV on June 12, 2012 at 10:08pm I believe this is a BASE amount. Add to it calories for activities and I think you would probably be at my mark which is 2000 - 2200 per day.
The rule of thumb for calorie calculation is: Find your Basal Metabolic Rate - google it for calculators BMR. This is the amount of calories needed to simply have a body be a body. Add to it the calories needed to do what you do above sitting on your keester all day. Then add any exercise calories. These can be found at websites on the net. Google Calorie calculator. I have a simple way. My BMR + 100 per hr for house cleaning - I am a house cleaner by trade. Then an additional 100 calories per hr for aerobic walking at the mall. Mine is spot on for 2000 - 2200 per day.
