Has anyone had any luck with couch surfing or trying to connect with other raw people that way?

Was wondering about LFRV couch surfing just the other day.
Would be great to have our own couch surfing corner here on 30BaD! :)

It's great for like-minded people to meet and the advantage for the traveller would be that they are able to find best places to shop for food in areas of this world where the produce doesn't grow on trees to pick or isn't being sold at every street corner. lol

I belong to couchsurfing, it's actually what I'm doing now. It has a strong vegan populatio and many different fourms/groups you can join. It's a wonderful concept and I oew them a lot.

Is there a couchsurfing website or something?  Is that what you are referring to?  I think it would great to have a network like that for lfrv, or even just raw.  I've got room to host one or two people, if they happened to be passing thru.  Could be fun.

I found a raw couple in Florida, a few years ago from couchsurfing.  They couldn't offer their couch but they met up with us and gave us some foraged fruit!
