30 Bananas a Day!

Good Morning All,

I'm a couchsurfer and a participant of WWOOF and right now I'm traveling the States for a year checking everything out.

I was wondering if anyone might allow me to work on their farms or homesteads in return for food and board.  I reckon it would be a wonderful way to braoden my knowledge of the vegan way of life and also give back.

I'm about to go work at Harmony Hill Farm in CA but I have a 2 week stint in Hawaii in September in which I would love to be able to help out on a farm or even a vegan restaurant/food market.

Anyone able to help would be great :)

Cheers,

Mon

Hi Mon,

What's WWOOF? Couchsurfing sounds fun! Where have you been?

Tracy
I'll be in Florida in January/Feb, feel free to swing by!
If you make it down to South Florida, I have a friend, Sal, in Homestead (an hour south of Miami) who has an AMAZING small fruit farm and hosts WWOOFers. You can stay in the house or even in his sweet tree-house and munch on the yummiest mulberries from the balcony. :)

Sunnied, do you have the contact info for his farm?  I was disappointed that I might not be able to WWOOF anymore because of being lfrv and would love to know about any farms that would accommodate fruit eaters!

His name is Saul Wiezenthal in Miami, FL if you want to search for him on facebook. I can try to get his phone number if you can't find him.

Found him!  Thanks so much, I'll definitely have to contact him! :)

Wow, Sunnied, that's great, I wish I'd known about that when I was in Florida, I stayed in Homestead all of one day and it was not a good experience!
Oh no! What happened?
