Comment by Eva on May 17, 2013 at 12:38pm Great, I look forward to meeting you guys :-)
Comment by dandelion on May 16, 2013 at 8:56pm I'm still up for it, Eva. Actually I might ask some bananagirls tonight from the facebook group. Have been so busy I just haven't gotten around to it. But will let them know as well. Hopefully we can get a few more. But 3's still good. Sometimes better only having a few.
Comment by Eva on May 16, 2013 at 5:57pm Stephanie and Dandelion, you guys and myself are the only ones who have confirmed so far. I am still keen but understand if you'd prefer a bigger gathering :-). Let me know what you think :-)

Yes. Back to eden are trying to move away from selling bits and pieces to the public. You can no longer buy 1-2 bunches of celery and a few kg of bananas etc. You must buy by the box.
I have started an organic buying group/ co-op for raw fooders in Sydney
http://www.simplehealthylife.org/organic-produce
You get whole sale prices. Check it out. Any one is welcome to join! I do most of the shopping at Eco farms and Organics Direct. Organics Direct are very friendly and often have partially ripe bananas for about $20 per box.
Comment by Stephanie on May 10, 2013 at 11:01am Oh I'll come if it's on!
Comment by kt2 on May 9, 2013 at 10:21pm Just wondering if anyone else is finding return to eden a little more difficult to shop at. I use to find RTE really friendly and convenient but since it has moved it seems to becoming more and more unwelcoming to those of us who aren't buying crates - though i do fill up my trolley. Is anyone else having this experience? Where else do people shop? Has anyone tried organics direct just around the corner? Does anyone shop at Paddys?
Comment by Eva on May 3, 2013 at 8:02pm Sure we can :-). So far no one has replied, so let's change it.
30 BaD Picnic is now on Sunday, 19 May! All the other details remain the same as per below/previous email.
Comment by dandelion on May 2, 2013 at 5:59pm Hi Eva,
I don't suppose it would be possible to make it the Sunday. I have my son's birthday on the 18th but could probably do the Sunday. Completely understand if Sunday doesn't work though...
Comment by Eva on May 2, 2013 at 5:16pm Hey guys,
I guess people aren't checking this group page very often (I admit I don't spend that much time here either :-) ).
So I suggest to move the below meet-up by two weeks to make sure people have enough time to plan.
Here the updated details:
Sydney 30-Bad Picnic
Date: Saturday, 18 May; 11am
Location: Waterfront Park, Bowman St, Pyrmont, Sydney (there are a couple of BBQ sites, so let's meet there and then find a nice green spot)
What to bring: Some fruit for yourself and/or to share
In case of bad weather: I live nearby and maybe we can try and go to our building and have our picnic in the covered roof-top area. But we can always decide on the spot what to do.
Please RSVP here so that people know who is coming.
My number is oh-four-oh-six-five-eight-five-three-two-one if you want to contact me.
Comment by dandelion on May 1, 2013 at 5:51pm Hi Eva,
I live in Mittagong, about an hour and 20 mins south of Sydney. I'm seriously considering coming down. but probably only if a few more people put their hands up. You may need to give people a little bit more notice though. Would love to friend you though and chat about your experiences.
peace and love
