A healing touch..
What o you think about people that has a special gift and can lay their hands on you, healing you? Before my raw-healing-journey I went to see a "nature-doctor". I didn´t like that he gave me alternative medicine like herbs, and he gave me bad diet tips(like more meat, because my ayurveda said so) but he also could tell just by looking at me, what kind of person I was. And he laid his hand on my stomach for a while, closing his eyes. The following days my bowel were perfect! Do you think it was mentally, that I believed he healed me or did he? Sadly my perfect bowel did´nt remain perfect, my illness came back. But anyway?

Since illness are mental- and emotional-related too im sure mental ways can have 'some effect'. However this is just another way to deal with the symptom and not the cause and this is why it came back. There are many ways to suppress symptoms so that it seems like they disappears...but until we deal with the cause the symptoms will only 'go back into the body' and manifest themselves through another channel or other part of the body later on.

I totally believe in healing touch. I practised many forms of it, from energy work to massage and I proved to myself that it worked on numerous occasions. Unfortunately as Xerxes says, many people remanifested their problems with the same or new symptoms.
In some cases, if their intent and clarity lined up behind the healing, then it was permanent and they moved on with their lives.
There is always something miraculous about loving touch, no matter what the concrete results are.
Writing about it makes me realize that I miss it. Anyone want a massage ;-)

Laying of the hands energy work, whatever its labeled is real! As a healer I've seen people have emotional releases, shift consciousness simply through intuitive touch. All is energy/vibration you you can build you can also destroy. I believe if the healer intended harm that can also be acheived as well.

What kind of healing touch was it? I practice reiki, and when i've been healed by a master i'd say after an hour my body is 90% better. All of our emotions are in our solar plexus (stomach area) and healing touch can release that tension and negative energy and then the digestive system clears out and works better. Of course it will only last a day or two if you keep putting yourself in the same situation and eating the same things and feeling the same way. It's a release, not a permanent fix. Learning reiki is very easy and pretty inexpensive, you can take a course anywhere from $200-$300 depending where you live. It is by far the most amazing and beneficial thing I have learned.
