30 Bananas a Day!

Hi guys,

 

Seeing as no one has started a discussion yet I thought I'd jump in :-)

 

I have been high raw on and off for years but always the high fat stuff, this is 3rd week on LFRV and I look better already. As a dancer I am hoping to improve fitness, stamina, flexibility and generally lose my 'slim but flabby' look.

 

Any dancers with much longer experience of 80-10-10 got any stories of how the diet/lifestyle has improved your dance abilities?

Just dancing for fun at parties, I've experienced the difference betwixt cooked and fruity.  Just like my fitness, I have a tendency to dance long and vigorously.  I remember once (cooked life) actually feeling quite sick like I'd pushed too much.  But raw, I was able to go go go while feeling good!
Yeah I totally get that! I have been dancing on stage before and come off nauseous :-( not nice. I am really comitted to being fit and healthy so been doing lfrv 100% and have started doing some core strength training too. As my fitness increases I will up the amount of exercise I do :-)
i agree. just nothing in the way. i noticed when everyone else was rushing off to the vending machine because they were ravenous and hadn't carbed up that day and they were buzzed out from caffeine on top of that, i was sailin' steady and light and strong during rehearsals. wasn't distracted by cravings for salty things or munchies.

For me, I just ALWAYS have the mood to dance!

Answering this one kind of late in the game, but flexibility for sure!!! Holy raw diet and flexibility!

I've danced my whole life and always wanted to be able to master the splits (both front and side). I kept working at it, but after going raw and especially 811, crazy flexibility likes the splits and what not is now just something I "do" rather than I "try" to do.... it's AWESOME!!!

ive noticed a huge spike in energy and my body recovers faster from rehearsals/ performances.  also i have a healthier outlook on my body and am happier in life :)

okay i see this thread is long quiet but i have something to say to it.

i love dancing at parties and i always have also when i wasn't raw yet. and there was this feeling of over doing it but loving it too much and going on and weak muscles and feeling very close to collapsing when sitting down... but now just last thursday i danced from 9pm to 2am straight through just with "potty breaks" and drank three liters of water while dancing. it was amazing and people were asking me where i got the energy from. I never have had so much fun dancing. wow.
