I think on one hand it's harder to have hcrv kids while in a school setting. On the other the hcrv lifestyle makes being at home so much more fun and effective.
What are your thoughts?

Standard school is unnatural.
Heck, most "Standard" things these days are unnatural.
So seems to go pretty hand-in-hand to me, in the pursuit of a more natural life.
I've done the school thing a bit when my daughter begged to try it and found myself expending a huge amount of energy advocating for my child. And it always seemed so futile. She only liked it for a very short time though. Not a very good school though. Now all three are unschooling and I can tell you my kids are much healthier physically and emotionally. I will also say it's easy having 3 because they have each other to play with, in addition to other area homeschoolers.

Yeah, it's really drilled in at public schools, too, in the US anyway. Quite the marketing ploy when you think about it. The dairy and meat industries are not stupid when it comes to profits. And the schools are always talking about obesity and eating right and exercise, then they turn around and create a sedentary daily schedule while touting a meat based diet and offering junk food at every chance!
