I'm getting a bulk order of Medjool Dates.
These are coming from Bautista in Mecca, CA. Organic.
Price is be $45 per 15 lb. case plus proportion of the shipping (I'm estimating that may be up to another $10). Under $4 per pound for organic dates is a great price!!!
Pickup will be at my place in Palo Alto, preferably on weekends, but weekday evening or early morning could also be okay if we coordinate in advance.
Please email me at cynthia.a.bai at gmail.com if you are interested!

Thanks for the info about Earl's Organics for bulk produce, they say they are open to walk-ins from 10pm to 10am, Sun night-Fri. morn. I'll check them out soon.

Talk to Dave Hestrin. He seems to be very on top of wholesale organics and he's in the south bay.

Any suggestions for where to get large/bulk quantities of organic fruit? I'm in Pacifica. The City or South City/Peninsula would be ideal. Any delivery services out there?

Cynthia, I have experienced them as well and they are AWESOME! I have been buying boxes of them. The nectarines are the BOMB!

If you are in the bay area, you must splurge and get yourself a box or two of Kashiwase nectarines or peaches before the season is over! I have been enjoying Arctic Jay (although they may be done now, not sure) and last week Bright Sweet (that's what the variety is called). Available at farmer's markets around the bay. Of course, organic. They command a premium price for a reason! Let them ripen for one more day, and they are bursting with flavor and sweet juice.
