Hey guys Jimmy the fruit wizard made me a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b0x0JKG8_44&list=UUmk6YomEJE-H6N...
So you were at the Woodstock Festival this year! Fantastic! Is one of the goals on my list. Maybe Valencia Fruit festival first next year or so! I'll check out Jelle and his site in the meantime. Take care, Gwendolyn
Thanks Gwendolyn, I met a Dutchman at the woodstock festival by the name of Jelle De Jong, he is on this site and a great guy, not sure were he lives in Netherlands though. Yes I will keep you informed, Ronnie
Hello Ronnie, though I do not live in Glasgow, I'd like to back you up! I live in the Netherlands, but we'll be moving to Scotland in some years from now. I am on a Raw journey for some years, and very happy with it. Let me know if you can find and meet some fellow travelers :-) Be happy, Gwendolyn
Dear Helena, cannot really explain why, it's just a matter of losing our hearts over there! But first we have to sell our house in the Netherlands. Unfortunately it is not a very easy time to do this. I'll keep you informed, sure!!! IN the meantime I'll be eating my bananas :-)
Hi Gwendolyn, hope all's well in the Netherlands. I wondered why you wanted to move to the Northwest coast of Scotland? The weather can be very harsh there (although I love it). If you are committed fruit munchers you may find it a little harder to get your daily fruit allowance here. However, it is possible. I am little closer to the metropolitan centres and so can get decent fruit, but I do depend on our local/Scottish fruits through the summer. I also eat a lot more non-sweet fruits and veggies than my fruity mates in America! I find that when I am camping in the northwest, I eat a LOT more fruit - I need the heat :) Let us know when you make the move!
oh great, thanks. sounds good.
Hello Katherine, congratulations with your baby. Hope everything is well for you both! As my children are grown ups all three of them, I do not have any experience on the LFRV style in combination with a baby. But being happy and healthy as a mother, is the basis for your child! So I would say eat what makes you happy and healthy! Don't worry!
