I went to a bbq tonight and took a raw dish that was soooo yummy.
Grated carrot, betroot and cabbage, raw corn and spiralized zucchini over the top with a mayonaise-
1 mango, 1/2 advocado, 1 orange juiced and 1 lemon juiced put in the vitamix. too yummy to be true! and really colourful.

Zucchini Pasta w/ Tahini Dressing:

2 medium zukes

Tomatoes - I used two different kinds from my garden - sun golds and heirloom black crims
red bell pepper (capsicums)
cilantro
cucumber

dressing:
1 ounce of raw tahini
juice of one lemon
1 3/4 ounce of water
2 juicy wet dates (yum)

I think if you make a meal for the purpose of getting a lot of calories in you then food combining does become fairly important where as if you're making something lower in calories it becomes less important I'd say. Acid will ruin the digestion of sweet fruit

Food combining is just a general guide, I personally feel that I don't have to think too much about it as long as I keep my recipes simple and don't mix indigestible foods with easily digestible foods.
