My fav smoothie is:

10 x ripe bananas

1 huge mango (if not 2 small)

1 x passion fruit

600ml water

raw Cookies

Variations limited to your imagination

Base Frozen Banana ice cream and add whatever you desire

Ginger Snap Cookies

8 Frozen organic bananas

2" piece or raw organic ginger minced

Optional organic raisins to decorate before dehydrating

Optional organic cinnamon powder. I haven't tried this but plan to.

Mince the ginger first then add the frozen bananas into a food processor. Let it sit at room temp for a few minutes to help out the food processor motor.

Blend into "Ice Cream" eat as is or Scoop out onto teflex sheets or parchment paper and press down to about 1/2 inch thickness. Then put into the food hydrator at 140 for 1-2 hours then reduce to the heat to 110. When dry to the touch flip over and continue drying until desired crispness.

In Florida with my TSM dehrador it takes about 19 hours to flip and then another 2-3+ hours to crisp to my desired taste. Less for chewy cookies more for "snaps". I forgot about a tray when doing multiple recipes and one tray left in over two days and really crispy and delicious.


Pina Colada Cookies

6-8 Frozen Bananas

2 rings of fresh pineapple 1/2 in thick

Handful of fresh coconut

Blend in food processor and dehydrate according to the above directions

Chocolate Raisin Cookies

8 Frozen Bananas

Raw Cacao to taste I used about 2 TBS

Blend in food processor

scoop on a teflex sheet

Add 2-3 raisins pushing down into the batter.

Banana Goji Berry Cookies

8 Frozen organic bananas

1/4 cup soaked organic goji berries

blend in food processor and dehydrate as above.

I decided to skip the frozen banana step and put 10 pounds of room temp banana ginger puree scooped into cookie shapes as above but I got fruit leather instead of individual cookies. That is the background of the "Thanksgiving Turkey" my friend Yamah helped me create at our dinner. The round ones in top were frozen banana cookies.

I got my inspiration from this website but changed it around a bit.

Try celery. It adds a bit of salinity to the shake (and water as celery is pretty juicy). Add water if you want the consistency to be less thick.

I love bananas now that I am attempting LFRV but I'm so addicted to adding unsweetened soymilk to frozen bananas in the blender cuz I love the way it makes it like a shake and tones down the sweetness. Does anyone have any suggestions for a healthier alternative until I get over my "shake" obsession?  my other option would probably be almond milk which I realize is fatty. Thanks soo much!!

Hi everyone!

This is my first recipe post that I'm adding to this group. I wanted to share a great smoothie to help break up mucus in the chest if anyone ever has this problem. This is the problem that I had this morning. (I'm still in the detox phase.) Let me know what you think! Sorry about the foto, I have no idea how to rotate it.

Cleansing Fig Smoothie (1300 cal. smoothie)

(Figs are great for dissolving mucus according to Dr. Arnold Ehret and are one of his top 3 foods for dissolving mucus. They also have a gentle laxative effect, so bear that in mind. This recipe was inspired from a similiar recipe in the Raw Food Real World book)


*6 frozen bananas, roughly chopped (my blender is obviously not a Vitamix :)  )

*3 pitted medjool dates, soaked

*10 medium figs without the skin

*a few sprinkles of cinnamon

 *a pinch or two of gr. vanilla bean ( I wish I had this on hand)

*500 ml of filtered water or more depending upon the consistency you want.


-Add all the above ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy!

Courgette and spinach w Mango, Orange, Celery, Date and chive Sauce :0) Yum :0)

3.5 courgettes

bag of spinach


1 Mango

1 Orange

1 Celery Stalk

5 Dates (soak in not fresh :0)

small amount of chives

Blend :0)

Sprouts for garnish and goodness :)

I just made a wonderful and interesting pasta. 

It was 1 spiralized zuichini and then blend together about 10 large strawberries, 2-4 dates (depending on how sweet you want it), 1 clove of garlic, and the juice of 1/2-1 key lime.  Yum!

Hi Chris, I can recommend the Spirooli for spaghetti like pasta and the Benriner cooks helper for angel hair pasta. I don't know of one that makes good spaghetti style and angel hair style in one. But the Spirooli is awesome for spaghetti.
