i love my zucchini spaghetti with a basil tomato sauce, but my boyfriend hates tomato and i'd really love to be able to make something that he will enjoy as well since we're hcrv together. i've been experimenting with trying to make a "creamy" sort of sauce for him but i'm not doing well as we'd like to avoid nuts and fats. avocado is a maybe but he was never fond of it to begin with.
any ideas? it doesn't have to be a creamy one, maybe a pesto sort of thing or anything else! preferably savory as he hates sweet sauces on the zucchini (i've tried : p )
thank you! : D

Permalink Reply by Bridgette on June 11, 2012 at 3:41pm this sounds so yummy. i'm going to make it tomorrow. i don't think my bf will like it because he craves the more savory sauces, but it sounds perfect for me. thank you!

Let's just say it is THE best Fettucini Alfredo sauce I have ever had in my entire life and it is RAW and RAWkin'. I screamed out loud when I tasted it at home after I made it! It was that dam good! You've just got to try this one. Even SAD'rs would think it was the real thing. Truly!!

Permalink Reply by ORGANIC811LFRV on June 11, 2012 at 8:36pm Hi there. I made a very good Spinach-Pesto sauce. Put into a blender about 1/2 lb baby spinach, juice of 1/2 lemon, a couple of leaves of basil, some oregano (fresh herbs of course), thyme and dill and blend. YUMMMM
