Not sure that many people look at this, but if you're looking for some bulk produce, Paradise Produce near deep ellum sells to the public. Not organic, but very affordable.

Hmm, I don't know where you'll find products like that besides at a place like Whole Foods. I've bought sun dried tomatoes at Central Market (tends to be the same prices as Whole Foods though), but I've no idea as far as beet powder, spirulina, and mulberries go. I would guess Central Market will have them if you're against going to Whole Foods.

Hey ya'll, I live in Allen. Where do you guys buy your shelf stable products like sun dried tomatoes, mulberries, spirulina and beet powder? I've tried Sprouts, and Windco, I'd like to try to avoid Whole Foods if possible due to the price. Thanks!

Hey, Toni, have you tried Whole Foods Market? They have deglet dates as well as medjool - although the medjools are quite pricy. The deglet dates run $4/lb and the medjools run around $8/lb. Whole Foods' prices on bananas are also really good. I looked up the drive time from Mansfield to the Whole Foods nearest you at 801 E Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX 76011 - You're looking at about 30 minutes each way. I'm sure you'll find that the drive is well worth it :) Good luck
