30 Bananas a Day!

Raw food has no correlation to religion.

Information

Raw food has no correlation to religion.

Whenever I talk about how I eat to other S.A.D people, they somehow combine my diet with being some kind of religion.

I can understand that raw food is a very weird new idea to others who has never heard of it before, but I find it to be a punch under the belt when people intentionally try and make me look like a religious fanatic, when in fact I am many times the only atheist in the room at the time even lol.

It might be that they think I sound like a fanatic and they automatically connect it with "religious fanatic" as that is a term they are used to hearing.

Have you guys experienced this too? Even if you are religious, your diet and food has nothing to do with it, right?

Spiritually in the "it makes my mind more clear" I can understand, but not religiously..

Just thinking out loud here. :)

People just use that term because they see the LFRV diet as being extreme. They think, "Oh my god! That person is so rigorously devoted to this insane fruit-diet that they must be incredibly religious about it to uphold such a strange and restrictive lifestyle." To them, nothing could allow a person to eat such a way but religious devotion. (I'm an athiest/agnostic, by the way.)
