Hi Natalie, congratulations. A lady called Karen Ranzi has a wealth of knowledge about this. She wrote a book called 'Creating Healthy Children' and here's a link to her website above. hope that helps

Hi, I'm only a month into the Raw til 4 diet and 2 days ago found out I was pregnant with my sec. I was wondering what are the best foods during pregnancy and how do I get enough calcium? Need a little advise I already eat about 2,500 to 3,000 calories a day.

Thanks Nigel, i am looking forwards to eating them again after his eczema is gone. My husband has a sensitivity too, so i think our son might be sensitive when his immune system his digestion and his liver are so compromised

That's odd, tomatoes cleared up my eczema. They're one of my most consumed foods! I guess what they say is true, "One man's medicine may be another's poison."

And i am avoiding all nightshades - todays is my first day. Just learned that nightshades trigger eczema yesterday (tomatoes, red peppers, hot peppers, eggplant

Our 2 month old has thrush and eczema from a lowered immune system - liver toxins overload from living in a mold infested house. Today is our 3rd day ALL raw vegan low fat to help cure baby. We are documenting 30 day HCRV on youtube and posting it here

Hi Vegantoria.  I had a hard time with fruits/veggies the first couple months of my last pregnancy.  While trying to eat 811 again I started with carrot juice.  It worked really, really well for me.  In addition to that I made a lot of grapefruit juice, ate a lot of melons and ate a lot of mangoes.  Juice was the thing that helped me to stabilize again with a healthy diet.  I think what you're experiencing is relatively normal.  I know I felt the same way.  During that time I just ate often and tried to slowly build my appetite up.  I felt great after just a couple weeks of eating more 811 style and I was able to build up to eating meals and eating over 3000 calories.  I remember how impossible that felt to me at the beginning of my pregnancy!

Hello there!
I am 14 weeks pregnant and dying to get back to the 811 lifestyle for the remainder of my pregnancy. My first trimester was really tough because I was nauseous all the time and fruits and veggies actually made me feel ill. Now I'm pretty much beyond the nausea and ready to start again. My biggest concern is how much I'll have to consume to keep my energy up. My stomach seems to have shrunk over the past few months and I just can't eat a lot in one sitting. Tips , favorite pregnancy meals, shared stories are all appreciated.

Hi All, Just wanted to say hello, I just joined.  I'm currently breastfeeding my son who is 15 months (and going strong), and have been on this lifestyle just about that whole time.  I have had no issues and still have a great milk supply.  Excited to learn from you all.
