Picnic this Sunday, September 21 at park opposite Trigg beach:)

What did the baby corn say to the mama corn? Where's the pop corn?
Yes, this and many more lamo vegan jokes will be shared this Sunday when we have our monthly picnic!

With a forecast of sunshine and 28 degrees, we will switch back to our old picnic spot at the park opposite Trigg beach (Clarko Reserve).
So come along, have some fun, and meet some like-minded people! We will be there from around 1pm, and we normally stay until about 5ish :)
It's the same deal as usual - just bring your own food to munch on. And if you're keen for a swim, then bring your bathers and towel along :)

Friends, family and pets are most definitely welcome. And even if you're not vegan yet, still come along and meet the crew! We know everyone is on their own journey, so no judgement :) And there's a playground at the park, so kids will love it there!

We've had heaps of new members join the page recently, so it will be great to meet some of you. And please don't be shy - we are all super friendly (unless there is a banana shortage - then we get real cranky lol).

When you arrive on Sunday, we will be the group with heaps of fruit near us :) And if you still can't find us, just give me a call on 0412 244 834 and I can point you in the right direction. It's not a big park so we will be easy to spot.

Oh, and how many vegans does it take to change a light bulb?
Two - one to change it, and one to check for animal ingredients bahahahaha

Hi guys,

We're from Melbourne and need to move to a warmer climate before winter comes again!

We eat only fruit for breakfast and lunch, so it's a huge part of our lifestyle.

Which city is better for fruit - Perth or Brisbane? Yes Brisbane is warmer, but Harley says most of QLD's good fruit is sent down south anyway.

And we need to move to a large capital city for work, so it can't be Cairns for example. Advice??.... where would you move if you had a choice??  How do you all find living the HCRV life in Perth? Is it super expensive?

Thanks :)

Heya everyone! Just reminding you all about Sunday's fruit picnic at Kings Park. (This Sunday, October 6).
It also doubles up as Ash and Kyah's birthday, so it's an extra special one!

Same deal as usual, just bring your own food to munch on and enjoy the good times. We will meet on the big grassy area of King's Park close to Fraser's restaurant. It's right near the whispering wall, war memorial and that flame thingo.

Come anytime from 230pm. I'll be running maybe 20 minutes late, so if you're there on time and can't see the group, just give Kyah a call on 0403 724 903 because she'll be there. You can also try me on 0412 244 834.

I'll catch you all then! Feel free to bring anyone and everyone :)  And for those who are not part of the facebook page, join up to Fruity in WA!! We have way more interaction on there. It seems people only use 30bad sporadically so they miss out on seeing the meet-up posts and what not. Hope to catch you all tomorrow!
Ciao :)

Heya guys and gals. So it seems the time has come around for our monthly picnic! It will be this Sunday, July 28 at 2pm.
As much as I love the rain, I thought it would be best if we kept this picnic indoors. So instead of the beautiful surrounds of Kings Park, my pad in yokine will have to do :)
But it's ok. You can say hi to our friendly backyard rats. Or try to make friends with that one mouse in the house that we (or our two dogs) haven't been able to catch yet.
So feel free to pop on over for a rawsome good time! And as always, just bring your own food to munch on.
Just send me a text on 0412 244 834 if you're able to make it and I'll sms you my address :)
In the meantime, stay warm, stay healthy, and I'll stay on the lookout for that damn mouse that keeps nibbling on my avocado (at least he's got good taste right?)

Hi guys I work for the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine, we are having our annual Natural Medicine Awareness Day on the 24th of March.  Its like an open day at the college where people come through to try out different forms of healing, auyerveda, naturopathy, massage etc... its free, theres free seminars, healthy food, fresh juices and smoothies, talks, workshops, free tai chi and stalls n stuff.
Also of course lots of information about studying these types of therapy. Come along! Maybe we can even have our picnic here as its a fun day, lots of grass and nice things to do:).
Love Ava
