Only 3 months ago I found out I had PCOS although I always suspected as my sister has it and we have the same symptoms. I've been LFRV now for 7 weeks (not 100% every day).
I bought the book 'Taking charge of your fertility" which was recommended by Peter here at 30BAD and am charting my first cycle now to find out if i'm ovulating or not, or where the problem seems to be.
1 week ago I ovulated! I was super happy! So now I'm waiting to see if my luteal phase is long enough for an embryo to implant in the uterus and who knows... maybe i'm even pregnant?!
Just wanted to let you know so far so good... or actually VERY good :)

Permalink Reply by Janneke on June 9, 2012 at 7:18am My eating pattern has not been the same over the weeks as I had some wrong information as to what to eat to help PCOS and endometriosis.
Mostly this is my daily routine.
after rising average 1 liter of water, then orange juice (+/- 1.5 liters) or water melon for breakfast (+/- 3 liters) then a 7 banana shake for lunch and sometimes some salad as I'm trying to up my green intake. Later in the day another banana shake and sometimes some strawberries and other frozen berries. I've stopped tracking my calories as it became a bit too much for me and didn't feel too natural. Other fruits I eat, but not every day is melons (water, honey dew and cantaloupe), kiwi, pineapple, some mango and tomato. Lately more and more broccoli, spinach, lettuce, carrots, celery and cucumber. Some days I've had steamed carrots and broccoli for dinner and sometimes even a little salmon or and egg.
I do supplement as I'm not getting in enough of certain vitamins which seem to be important for us ladies. I've been taking Vit E, Vit B12 injections (even though my start value was 546) Calcium/Vit D combo (can't get only Vit D in Mexico) Ferro (iron supplement) and omega supplement.
I've read that vitamine E and D seem to be very important for us. The E was also recommended by the gyno here.
I drink between 2-3 liters of water a day, I pee A LOT, which is sometimes super annoying, haha. Take between 2-2500 cal a day and run every other day for about 2 minutes.... still building it up.
My symptoms of PCOS/Endometriosis have been not being able to get pregnant, prior to the pill, very irregular periods. 3 years ago stopped taking it and have had very regular periods between 26-34 days. Sinds 1 year super painful periods, only the 2nd day and so much that I faint. I am not overweight (BMI 20) and don't have excess hair. I'm one of the 20% that has different symptoms than most women. I have had hypoglycemia since in my teens, my dad has it and all my 3 sisters. Since LFRV i don't seem to have blood sugar issues except for a rare occasion when I wait way too long to eat. I sleep about 9-10 hours a day, try to go to bed around 9, but not always possible.
I hope this will help some of you :) Will let you all know if I have any further charting results.
