Race for the Animals 5k/10k run 2013 registration is now open.  It is at a new location this year, Mt. Tabor (Portland).  Even if you are not currently a runner, 2 months is enough time to train for the 5k (3.1 miles) and proceeded benefit NWVeg (vegan group).  I am going for the 10k this year, would be great to meet some of you guys there!

ORGANIC BANANA DEAL!!

I got a sweet price on 40, 40lb cases of bananas... that's right 40! 

If you want to come by my place in North Tacoma and buy a couple, be my guest! 

15$ a box or two for $25, three for $35, four for $45 

Passing on the deals! I am marking it up a bit from what I payed for my time spent taking care of 1,400lbs of bananas! :)

Hi Pacific Coaster!

My name is LJ I wanted to use this as an opportunity to network with other 811ers up and down this gorgeous coast, and to offer up myself and my couch if you are coming to Vancouver this summer!  

I am a couchsurfing host, and I love meeting new people and showing them around Vancouver. I'd also be very excited to meet other 811ers, as I currently don't know any :(

I have an extra bicycle, and cycling around Vancouver is absolutely the best thing to do here in the summer!  It is a very bicycle friendly city.  Feel free to add me as a friend, and to send me a msg if you are coming my way.  

I also love travelling along our gourgeous coastline to all the funky places, towns, and cities, and I would also love to meet some of you along the way.I have a cousin in Seattle who I love to visit, and Portland is one of my favourite cities in the world!  I lived for two summers in the gorgeous redwood mountains of Pescadero, and I really miss it.  I've got to visit soon!

Hi all...I live in Seattle and I recently requested our public library to order Grahams 80/10/10 book. They now have eight copies on order for the Seattle public libraries! So if you have curious friends or neighbors tell them about it.

Nice Sunny morning here in Portland Oregon. We're off to the park to scamper. If any of you like to hang out with children too and want to share the sensation filled lifestyle with us, then give a jingle. Kelsey, Max, Gusta, Reyen and myself will be at our apartment on 29th and Clinton for the next month and then down to McMinnville (45miles SW of Portland) to a new house after that. There is a likelihood of an apartment of that house becoming available. It's charming and cheap and in a nice town. Then we would have a fruitarian house, which I would enjoy.
