Hey Frank - would love to get together.  There is actually a raw food potluck in Eugene this weekend - go to http://rawnation.org/joomla/.  Unfortunately, I am in corvallis and have a packed full weekend so I can't make it down there...but maybe the following weekend?

Is anyone familiar with Growers Outlet?  It may be a little closer to Gresham than Portland but it sounds interesting.

Forrest - if you want good fruit places, there is always Limbo on 39th near Holgate - and any New Seasons..if you want restaurant with smoothies (& raw gourmet) - Blossoming Lotus off NE Broadway and 15th...I think if you scroll through this whole list you will find oodles of other places!!  Where you are staying is close to all of these locations!! People's is also good but a very small fruit section - but very good fruit!!  Personally, I would go to Limbo and then New Seasons!  Congrats!! Have fun!

Just booked my anniversary trip to Portland!! Any tips on where to get the best fruit? We'll be staying at the Jupiter on Burnside.

Hi All Cascadians!

 

I'm in Eugene, have three kids that I watch half-time, and I'm new to 811 but not new to vegan/vegetarian. But I cheat a lot and might need some help!

 

The 811 is going well though (only 5 days so far) and I don't feel as much of a need to binge or break the diet, which is why I'm excited about it -- it seems sustainable.

 

We got some sun today -- free vitamin D!
