Seattle meet-up?

Hey guys - I'm new to the Seattle area. I was born and raised outside of Detroit, and when I first found the raw lifestyle back in college I didn't know of anyone at my school who was also doing it. To be honest, two years later I've still never met a raw vegan in person! I've been struggling a lot and yo-yo back and forth, and I really feel that it would be helpful to meet others who are succeeding at this lifestyle!

I currently live in Kenmore and work at the UW. Anyone interested in meeting (perhaps in January or Feb when I'm back in the area)?

Hi there,

I am from Southfield, MI and went to MSU. Moved the Bellevue about 2.5 years ago. I have gone back and forth diet wise for a while but am incredibly inspired by Freelee, DR, this site and others.

I am committing to go Vegan for 2012, what percent raw has yet to be determined. I think a local group to support and share and connect would be awesome. Getting together jan/feb sounds great to me.

Hey hey! I'm living in Port Townsend (across the sound)... It's easy for me to get into Seattle, so if you set something up, please let me know (Friday-Monday is best, as I'm off work)!

I've been doing this diet for about 2-and-a-bit years and love it! The climate around here causes me some *annoyance*, but all the delicious food coming off local farms helps a lot (as do those bananas from ecuador). Anyway, keep in touch! Lily

Hey! Did y'all ever meet up? New to 80-10-10 and Seattle (as of August) as well. I live in the International District. Young coconut, $1.69! Lots of durian and jackfruit in the late summer/early fall. Wondering how to do 80-10-10 on a budget.

My place isn't too small, I could host a pot luck meet up. We could also make something on meetup.com. Second weekend in Feb anyone?

I think there is a meet up going on on the 4th, but it's not 811 as far as I know. I'll be in the u district this weekend if anyone wants to have an impromptu get together.

I'm in Yakima and new to 811 as well. Would love to go to a local meet-up to find out how others are getting along in the PNW on this lifestyle! Would be fun to do a fresh produce tour in the spring as well once some of the local farmers go to market. :)

Hello PNW people. I live in Seattle by the Space Needle and started getting serious about 811 1/1/2012. Meetup would be fantastic. We could pick a Whole Foods or go to the ID.
