Going! I haven't booked my flight yet though. I live around Tacoma.

I haven't booked my flight either.  I was researching it and it seems a bit complicated and expensive to get there.  Let me know if you figure out a good travel plan.

Depending on if my friend moves out there, my current plan is to fly in either the night before or day of (but that might make me too late/tired for the fest) and hopefully there will be quite a few other people and we might all be able to coordinate times with and split the costs of getting up there by car. Haven't looked into it more than that... I'm sure there are other ways to get there though. people have even talked about doing a trip from the west coast.

I'm going too.  I went last year as well.  I haven't arranged transportation yet either.  But I'm pretty sure I would fly to NYC, possibly hang out there for a bit with others, then take a bus up to the event location.

Hi Eric,

Glad to hear that you are going.  It will be nice to have someone there that I have met before.  I ended up booking my flight into Albany and I arrive on the 19th.  I will stay one night there and then take the bus to the festival. If for some reason you end up taking a similar route let me know so we can meet up along the way.
